A picture is worth a thousand words for just a moment frozen in time, but here you'll find words that a picture doesn't always capture.

Sydney & Colt's Winter Mini Sesh
Tell me this is not giving Christmas tree farmer falls in love with the sweetest small town nurse energy! (Well, they're both nurses, but you get it)!
There is something just so easy and sweet about Syd and Colt. The way they love each other is impossible to miss and watching them glow together feels like watching two best friends fall in love over and over again. The way they act together and can get the other to smile without even trying made my heart so happy to witness. They honestly look like they stepped right out of a Hallmark movie and I love it!

Holly & Greg's surprise proposal
I have to share the loveliest little story from Holy & Greg's special night.
Around 4pm, I got a message from Greg. He told me that in about 20 minutes he and his girlfriend Holly would be heading to the Golden Stag in Manistee for dinner, and that tonight was the night he wanted to propose. Everything had lined up so beautifully, and he asked if there was any chance I could make it.
Somehow, the stars aligned for me too, and I could. (I was beyond excited and eager to go, and am so fortunate to be located so close)!
I hurried to get ready, called the restaurant to coordinate, and spoke with Jason from the Golden Stag, who was an absolute gem. He helped plan exactly where they would sit and even set aside a table for me nearby. The whole place had this warm, golden glow, and a pianist was playing which made the evening feel straight out of a dream.
When Clair de Lune floated through the room, our side of the restaurant softened into quiet hushes, warm smiles, and gentle laughter. The atmosphere was intimate, thoughtful, and incredibly beautiful.
After dessert, Greg got down on one knee. Holly said yes through happy tears, and the moment filled the room with joy, emotion, and the sweetest reactions. It was perfect.
I went home and edited the photos right away because I was honestly so overwhelmed with how precious it all was. 🥹✨
Nights like this remind me exactly why I love what I do. 💛

Cheyann & Tyler's Fall Engagement Session
I got to photograph the sweetest engagement session for Cheyann and Tyler during peak fall colors, everything was glowing orange and yellow with warm sun shining through the trees and was absolutely beautiful.
I have to admit.. their daughter completely stole the show with her little pink and purple camera, which actually worked! She was taking photos right alongside me and might be my new favorite tiny photographer. 🧡
We enjoyed the fresh air, the colors, and even got lucky seeing some deer. My favorite moment was when Cheyann mentioned the Lions game being on and I apologized to Tyler that he had to miss it. In response, he just smiled and said this was better, because there will always be another football game but there won’t always be a day like this with his family. LIKE HOW SWEET IS THAT?

The Three Musketeers
I had the absolute privilege of photographing Sammy, Ruth, and Cindy, and I don’t even know where to start. Cindy tackles life with a smile, lots of laughter, and more attitude than anyone I know. She kept calling me crazy for the silly things I was doing to make her and Sam and Ruth laugh, and at one point she almost ran over my foot, which had me giggling along with her. I told her no more drunk driving! (Kidding, of course, she's a pro).
Watching the way Sam and Ruth care for each other and support Cindy is truly inspiring. The love, humor, and connection they share is the kind of thing that stays with you. Being around them reminded me how powerful joy and resilience can be, and I feel so lucky to have spent the day capturing just a little bit of their beautiful story.
Empire, MI
Liv & Alex
The D.H. Day Barn in Empire, Michigan looks like something out of a dream. Built in the late 1800s by local legend D.H. Day, it’s one of the largest historic barns in northern Michigan. Stretching over 100 feet long with a rare curved “ogee” roof and twin cupolas you can spot from miles away. Once home to hundreds of dairy cows and acres of apple and cherry trees, it was the heart of a thriving farm that helped shape the area’s history.
Photographing Olivia and Alex here just made sense. Olivia’s work as a Human & Livestock MagnaWave Practitioner and Equine Massage Therapist made this setting the perfect fit for her. And honestly, Alex said he was just glad Olivia hired a funny photographer. 😉🌾🤍
